During the consultation our nurse practitioner will go over your weight loss goals, past medical history, and qualifications for weight loss medications. Weight Management Intake Visit

Most people come to Storm Wellness Northwest looking for weight loss. What they often discover is so much more: a health journey that builds strength, confidence, and lasting change. True wellness means building habits and a lifestyle you can sustain for life.

During your intake visit, our nurse practitioner will take time to understand your life as a whole—your daily routines, stress levels, sleep, nutrition habits, and health history. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach this is healthcare the way you wish it worked: simple, supportive, and designed around your real life. We start by meeting you where you are and layer in small, realistic changes that can truly fit into your life. None of us have time for a complete routine overhaul, and we don’t believe that’s sustainable.

As part of your intake, we also perform body composition testing with our SECA machine. This gives us a clearer picture of what your scale number is made of—muscle, fat, and water—so we can set more meaningful goals and track progress beyond just pounds lost.

Treatment plans may include:

• Nutrition guidance tailored to your lifestyle
• Movement coaching for maintenance and in some cases increased muscle mass
• Lab work – offered in house or through Quest at a reasonable cash price ($99-$129)
• Evidence-based medications (oral or injectable) when appropriate
• Insurance-supported options (when prior authorization is possible, with a provider fee for submission)
• Access to direct-pay programs through pharmaceutical partners

Over time, many patients not only lose weight but also see remarkable improvements in their overall health. It’s not uncommon for blood pressure medications to be reduced or discontinued, or for blood sugar numbers to return to normal ranges.

Virtual Visit Requirements:

Yes, I offer virtual consultations for patients located in the states of Washington and Oregon. At this time, I am not licensed to provide virtual care to patients in other states.
